This prestigious award acknowledges the Champion team with the Best TEAM SPIRIT displayed by it's  members supporting each other in their team and individual events.  The team accumulating the most points from their team and individual members solo wins, plus audience/team cheers and support will determine who wins the coveted title .

Points are accumulated from solo students and team wins from all Twirl Mania events.

TWIRL MANIA CHOREOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR

    

$300.00 Bond , Special Award

 

Team judges score all teams and corps to obtain the Choreographer of the Year.  The Choreographer of the Year will be judged on all segments of the routine including theme, choreography, music interpretation, creativity, quality, effective floor coverage, staging, technique, precision, perfections within the style, unison of teamwork, visual effects, audience appeal, general appearance including costumes (fit and cleanliness), showmanship and professionalism.

Awards Extravaganza

Disney’s Hollywood Studios™   ~   Indiana Jones Theater      

Sunday 2/20/2011   Time: 7:15pm doors open    8:00pm Begin

If you plan to enter the park prior to 7:00pm, you will need a park ticket!

If not, please meet at the Twirl Mania gate to be escorted to the theater.

The prepaid credentials included with your Disney Ticket purchased through Twirl Mania are REQUIRED BY ALL for admittance to the Awards Extravaganza.  They will not use a park day if entered with the TM group at 7:00pm

 

 

 

Awards ceremony…  Athletes MUST be in COSTUME to receive awards and have photos taken on stage at the awards ceremony.

 

Athletes in ‘street clothes’ or ‘sweat suits’ WILL NOT be permitted to participate on stage or in photo sessions.

 

Seating for Athletes:  We request that all TM athletes take the FRONT ROW SEATS BY DIVISION, except for front row center that is reserved for VIPS.  This will allow athletes easy access to the stage.

PHOTOS:  Once awards have been presented on the Awards podium steps, please go to the Photo area for Official Awards Photos to the side of the staging area.

At the conclusion (not before) of the Awards Extravaganza, score sheets will be distributed in the back of the theater in designated groups ( A – Z )  or Teams/Corps

REMINDER

Score sheets, Certificates  and Awards cannot be mailed after the Championships!

 

Please make sure to pick them up or have someone pick them up for you.

COACHES, DIRECTORS & PARENTS

·       Please pick up your students / child’s awards following each event except for Sunday’s Award Ceremony divisions.

·       Score sheets from posted awards during the day will be given with awards at the Awards Table. 

·       All other score sheets will be handed out at the score sheet table.  Please pick up non-placing score sheets throughout the day.

·       All awards & score sheets must be picked up at event.  We cannot mail out after the Championships. 

·       Score sheets from the Awards Extravaganza events will be given out at the conclusion of the ceremony in the back of the theater.  Please be courteous to other athletes and wait to leave your seats until all awards have been presented.  No score sheets will be given out until all awards are presented.

·       Please pick up awards or make accommodations to have someone pick them up for you.

·       The last chance to pick up awards/score sheets Monday Athletes Clinic 9:00am-10:30am at the WWS  during the Athletes Workshop.
