A ball is a circle, No beginning, no end.
It keeps us together Like our Circle of Friends
But the treasure inside for you to see
Is the treasure of friendship you've granted to me.
Today I pass the friendship ball to you.
AM I REALLY NEEDED?
As a baton teacher, I am often faced with kids who think that are not
important to the team because they are ONLY 1 member out of 45...That is is my
favorite "motivational" tool that I like to hand out to my students.
Xvxn though my typxwritxr is an old modxl, it works wxll xxcxpt for onx
of thx kxys. I'vx wishxd many timxs that it workxd pxrfxctly. Trux, thxrx arx 42 kxys that
function, but onx kxy not working makxs thx diffxrxncx.
Somxtimxs, it sxxms to mx that our txam is somxwhat likx my typxwritxr,
not all thx pxoplx arx working propxrly. You might say, "Wxll, I'm only onx pxrson. I
won't makx much diffxrxncx." But you sxx, a txam, to bx xfficixnt, nxxds thx activx
participation of xvxry mxmbxr. Thx nxxt timx you think your xfforts arxn't nxxdxd,
rxmxmbxr my typxwritxr, and say to yoursxlf, "I am a kxy pxrson and thxy nxxd mx vxry
much!"

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE POTATOES
Some people never seem to be motivated. They are content to watch what others do.
They are called 'SPECK TATERS'
Some people never do anything to help, but they are gifted in finding fault with the way
others do things.
They might be called 'COMMON TATERS'
Some people are always looking for ways to cause problems. Then they look for others to
agree with them.
You call them 'AGGIE TATERS'
Some people are very bossy and they like to tell everyone what to do, but of course they
do not wish to soil their hands. You could call them 'DICK TATERS'
Then there are those who always say they will, but somehow they never get around to doing
anything.
They are called 'HEZZI TATERS'
Some people put on a front and act like they are someone they are not.
They are called 'EMMA TATERS'
Still there are others who live what they talk. They are always prepared to stop what they
are doing to lend a hand. They bring real sunshine into others lives.
You might call them 'SWEET TATERS'
INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIFE
1. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
2. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have, or sleep all you
want.
4. When you say, "I love you", mean it.
5. When you say, "I'm sorry", look the person in the eye.
. Never laugh at anyone's dreams.
9. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the
only way to live life completely.
10. In disagreements, fight fairly.
11. Don't judge people by their relatives.
12. Talk slowly but think quickly.
13. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer,
smile and ask,"Why do you want to know?"
14. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
15. Call your mum.
16. Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.
17. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
18. Remember the three R's:
Respect for self; Respect for others; Responsibility for all
your actions.
19. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
20. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to
correct it.
21. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in
your voice.
Spend some time alone.
24. Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.
25. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
26. Read more books and watch less TV.
27. Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think
back, you'll get to enjoy it a second time.
28. Trust in God but lock your car.
29. A loving atmosphere in your home is so important. Do all you
can to create a tranquil harmonious home.
30. In disagreements with loved ones, deal with the current situation.
Don't bring up the past.
31. Read between the lines.
32. Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.
33. Be gentle with the earth.
34. Pray. There's immeasurable power in it.
35. Never interrupt when you are being flattered.
38. Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.
40. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a stroke
of luck.
43. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.
44. Remember that your character is your destiny.
